A lot needs to be said...

Hello hello hello! It's been a month since I last posted but it feels like it's been months and months! I like to wait to hear from the Lord on what to post next and since I prayed that prayer God has been giving me revelation after revelation. So this post is going to be a little different; I'm going to post some of the many little nuggets of messages God has sent my way:

The beauty of rest
I'm just so compelled to write about rest and peace and patience. My entire life God has tested me and tested me on having righteous patience. And now I feel like those little tests have prepared me for the ultimate test of patience. I am currently awaiting something big that could happen, and I can see it; I can't reach it but I can see it. This timing that I am in is all about patience, faith, and perseverance.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him
Psalm 37:7

Ending relationships leaves openings for new ones
Everyone needs a friend, whether you'd like to admit it or not. Like my dad says, life is about relationships. We live our lives in connection to so many different people and we have deeper bonds with some of those people. We also go through different seasons of friendships. Some of us are blessed with friends since kindergarten, while some of us lose but gain friends throughout their lives.

"God designed it for us to actually have a need for each other," Bethel worship leader Amanda Cook said.

How expectations hurt your reality
When you're focused on your unrealistic expectations, you miss things. You miss the truth. You belittle great achievements or improvements in a person or yourself or in a situation.

God loves to talk and share what's in His heart! I have verse Psalm 46:10 in my heart and mind, and my eyes keep opening up and able to see His glory and wonder.

Of course, I plan to expand on each message that I have received, and I look forward to sharing more!

Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.
